Na de award voor " 's Werelds mooiste motorfiets" zijn er nu ook de Motorcycling Star Awards. Motorcycle Bloggers International (MBI) is de initiator van deze nieuwe awards. Het MBI is een organisatie van onafhankelijke internetschrijvers (bloggers/webloggers) die voor verschillende motorgerelateerde blogs schrijven.

De Motorcycling Star Awards worden uitgereikt voor noemenswaardige prestaties of juist onvergefelijke blunders in de motorindustrie. Hieronder staat het overzicht met alle awards-categorieën en de winnaars.



The 2006 Motorcyling Stars:

* Standing ovation -- Ewan McGregor for the Long Way Round Book & TV series
* Object of lust -- MV Agusta F4-1000 Tamburini - Italian sculpture on wheels

* Thumbs down -- BBC Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson - for generating hate towards motorbikers
* What were they thinking -- Harley-Davidson Coffee - stick to making motorcycles
* Ugliest new motorcycle -- Boss Hoss BHC-3 502
